Ethel lost her husband, and was left 10 million dollars. However, her goodwill efforts with this money has made her a target for her children. They write her off as needing help and send her to a sanatorium as a guest. She is the only one that knows where the money is however, and they continue efforts to retrieve this information from her. The other guests though prove to us throughout the performance that we don't always know who exactly is in the right state of mind. A comedic show with a heart, not to be missed.

 

When: March 2 & 3 at 7:00pm
Where: Page-Walker Arts and History Center (119 Ambassador Loop in downtown Cary)

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script (no monologues). A perusal copy of the script is available at the Cary Public Library Reference Desk - 310 S Academy St). You do NOT need to attend both days; if you do, then know that priority will be given to new people on the second day.

• Please bring a recent photo (snapshot or a headshot) A photo will be taken if you do not have one.
• No appointment is required. Please plan to stay the entire time so that you can read with other actors (about 2 hours).
• Arrive a few minutes early to read the information sheet and fill out the audition form, and peruse the sides. Be prepared to provide any conflicts you have (bring your calendar and a pen) between Mar 9 and May 3. Rehearsals will start Mar 9, and will be in various Cary locations and, later, the Holly Springs Cultural Center. Rehearsals will mainly be in the Mon-Fri days of the week, 6:30-9:30pm or so.
• Callbacks on Thursday March 5th at the Holly Springs Cultural Center (300 W. Ballentine St., Holly Springs). You will be notified via phone and/or email if you have been called back. Callback names and parts, along with other information will be posted on the website on March 5 by 2:00 p.m. If you are not called back it doesn't mean you are not still under consideration.
• After callbacks, and after all casting decisions are made, we will contact the final cast by phone and/or email. We will then post the final cast on our webpage on Monday, March 9th or sooner.
